Mamata Kumar is an established nutritionist and dietician with more than 11 years of experience. Her philosophy is that the wellness of the human body must be in coordination with the wellness of the human mind, which holds equal importance in working towards a better overall well-being of the person.
Kumar is passionate about her quest for knowledge of the human body and its functionalities. Paired
with that, she strongly believes in "Jaisa Ann, Waisa Mann", and so she focuses on incorporating more
local, readily available and season-suitable foods into your diet, with recipes that are simple, traditional
and a treat to one's tastebuds.
Food holds a lot of value for any and every culture, which is why Kumar incorporates different cultures
and their authenticity in her recommendations and recipes.
Kumar has a Master's Degree in Yoga and Sociology, along with a Diploma in Health and Dietetics, and is
deeply interested in combining the two aspects of her education through health and culture, thereby
ensuring that the goal of a healthier self does not compromise on the joys and pleasures of tasty food
(enjoying every bite of your food is also a step towards your overall well-being!). She specializes in
women's health and wellbeing, creditable to her own life experiences and career journey. As a woman,
different stages of your life call for different levels of physical and mental pressure, and coupled with the
ever existing societal pressure of abiding by body standards, it often ends with them compromising with
their own health. Kumar believes that she has the skills to understand and tailor the plans according to
the needs and requirements of that individual person, ensuring a personal touch with each client.
The food we should consume and the activities we should take part in order to work towards the goal of a complete life, body and mind all come naturally to us but falling trap to the rising trends of flashy promises, we end up on a path where the equation between the body and mind becomes imbalanced, which is why it is important to understand that the goal is not "how can I change my body?" but rather "how can I improve my overall well-being?"
Being a wellness coach, Mamata Kumar aims to engage with and motivate people from all sections of society to work towards their betterment. In the past, she has collaborated with various organizations, schools and corporate houses, besides her 100+ clientele that she built as the founder The Say Fitness, a fitness studio that offered a variety of activities for which she is a certified trainer, such as Zumba, Aerobics, Spinning etc.
